Accessibility statement
I want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard, zoom or a phone. The goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What I already do
- Colour contrast is calculated for every text and background pair, in light and dark mode.
- All navigation works with the keyboard alone, with always-visible focus and a skip-to-content link.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, for easy touch.
- The language of each page is declared, in Portuguese and English, and so are changes of language.
- Status never relies on colour alone: it always has an icon and text.
- I respect the reduced-motion preference and zoom up to 200%, with no horizontal scrolling.
- Form fields have visible labels and error messages are announced.
What is not verified yet
An external audit and complete screen-reader testing on several devices have not been done yet. When they are, this page will be updated with the results. If you find a barrier, tell me.
How to tell me something does not work
Use the contact form on the home page or write to info@agostinhosoftware.pt, describing the page and the problem. I reply by the next business day and fix it as quickly as I can.
