A print shop site the team runs on its own, with search, SEO and privacy built in
The print service of the Lisbon Faculty of Fine Arts needed a public site and an admin panel its staff can run without a developer.

The situation
A print shop needs people to find it, understand what it offers and ask for a quote. That means services, a portfolio, guides, FAQs and opening hours, all kept current by staff who are not web developers.
The result
The site is live at sublimarte.pt, presenting the shop's services and portfolio in Portuguese and English, so it can reach people who do not speak Portuguese.
What I built
- A public site with services, portfolio, occasions, guides, FAQ, contacts, site search and a request-a-quote block on key pages.
- An admin panel where staff edit pages, services, portfolio projects, guides, FAQs and the homepage, with a rich-text editor and image uploads.
- Roles for manager, staff and developer, so each person only sees what they should.
- A built-in tutorial inside the admin, written for non-technical staff.
- Automatic backups and a health dashboard that warns about problems.
- An audit log of who changed what.
- A maintenance switch that replaces the site with a notice while the team works on it.
What it looks like

Search and SEO
- A built-in SEO monitor (Google Search Console, Bing and PageSpeed data in one admin page when connected).
- Structured data so search engines understand the shop, services, guides and FAQs.
- A benchmark of the site against seven nearby competitors, documented in the project.
Compliance and quality
- Cookie consent and a privacy register that lists every cookie, storage key and third-party service, kept in step with the public privacy policy.
- Cookieless, privacy-friendly visit statistics.
- An accessibility checklist applied to new screens (focus rings, contrast, touch targets).
- Automated tests.
What your project can have
- A site your team keeps up to date day to day: edit pages, services and images without calling a developer.
- Structured data, a sitemap and an SEO monitor in the admin from day one.
- Portuguese and English always complete: the admin warns you when text is missing.
Technology
Common, well-documented technologies, so the project can grow or change hands.
